I got one for my daughter during one of their Kickstarter campaigns. She misplaced hers and she loved it and asked to get her another one. It was on sale and I got her 2 when she loses this replacement.

Doesn't really lock into place, but it does the job well.

I love the compact design while being very sturdy and robust. I will say if you plan to travel with this in a carry on take it out or put it in a small pocket because my bag got searched in 5 of 6 domestic and foreign check areas.

First off when I ordered this stand I thought it was just going to be call plastic, I was wrong this thing is metal and has some weight to it. Before I even set it up I was already impress. My favorite feature about it though is the ability to charge your switch and have it playable, unlike using the Switch's built in kickstand. Definitely great for playing on the go. I would highly recommend this if you play a lot of Switch in portable mode but with the kickstand.
