Heatsink & Power Loss Protection
SavePoint is equipped with an integrated heatsink designed to dissipate heat efficiently and away from your device, keeping the drive and device cool.
With its Protective Capacitor, SavePoint is also prone to drops, sudden battery loss, or quick disconnections.
MagSafe Attachment
We’ve integrated magnets into SavePoint, offering a secure, convenient attachment method for your handheld gaming consoles and other devices. We include a MagSafe sticker to turn any device or case into a magnetic attachment for SavePoint. The MagSafe connection allows you to quickly and securely attach SavePoint to your console or phone, keeping it firmly in place.
Charge While You Play or Work
We didn’t settle for a wimpy 5W passthrough in our SSD enclosure. Knowing the power demands of handheld gaming, we equipped it with a Power Delivery system that supports up to100W fast charging, ready for today’s and tomorrow’s powerful devices.

FAQ
How do I install Windows on my SavePoint?
If you have ordered a SavePoint including our 512GB, 1TB or 2TB SSD, then Windows has already been installed. You should be able to directly boot into Windows with your Steam Deck (OLED). If you are using your own SSD and you are wondering how to install Windows on it, then head to our blog for the full instructions.
How do I install my own M.2 NVMe 2230 SSD?
To install your own M.2 NVMe 2230 SSD into the SavePoint enclosure, follow these steps:
- Remove the Hex Screw: Start by locating and remove the hex screw with our included hex key on the enclosure to access the internal compartment.
- Remove the Heatsink: Carefully take off the heatsink to expose the M.2 slot for your SSD.
- Insert Your SSD: Align your 2230 SSD with the slot and gently insert it at an angle until it is securely in place. Press the SSD down and turn the small locking mechanism that holds the SSD in place.
- Reattach the Heatsink: Once your SSD is installed, put the heatsink back on and secure it with the hex screw you removed earlier.
Your SavePoint is now ready to use with your SSD!
